Alprilla Farm, located in Warner, NH is run by Sophie and Noah Courser-Kellerman. They specialize in storage vegetables for fall and winter sale. They also grow grains for culinary use as part of their crop rotation. A fall/winter CSA is the heart of their business, with local wholesale, online sales platform and a winter farmers market as additional marketing channels. Soil health is a critical priority, and experimentation is a constant on this farm. Core practices include thoughtful crop rotation, reduced tillage, mulching, and cover cropping. They are experimenting with both homemade and purchased biochar application and look forward to sharing their experiences and hopefully feedback and lively discussion from participants.

The New Hampshire Vegetable and Berry Growers Association (NHVBGA) is partnering with NOFA-NH on this program. They will be at the program to share info about the organization and answer questions. NHVBGA promotes the interests of NH vegetable and small fruit growers by creating marketing opportunities and consumer education of NH grown produce. They also promote educational and research opportunities for its members through training opportunities, workshops and annual meetings.
These events are hosted by Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire and sponsored in part, by the USDA Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP).
